【Pharmacological action】
Ivermectin is a new, broad-spectrum, high-efficiency, low-toxic macrolide antibiotic-based anthelmintic that produces good repellent effects on most nematodes in livestock and poultry, as well as ectoparasites such as flies and noses. Fly larvae, as well as cockroaches, itch, ticks, blood sputum, sputum, etc. The anti-killing effect of this product on nematodes and arthropods mainly blocks the interneurons and motor neurons by increasing the release of the inhibitory transmitter γ-aminobutyric acid and opening the glutamate-controlled Cl-channel. Passed to the death of the worm. Since aphids and trematodes do not use γ-aminobutyric acid as the main delivery medium and lack the glutamate-controlled Cl-channel, they are ineffective against aphids and trematodes. Clinically, it is mainly used for the prevention and treatment of gastrointestinal nematodes, pulmonary filars and ectoparasites in horses, cattle, sheep, pigs, dogs and cats, poultry and the like.
【Pharmacokinetics】
The half-life of ivermectin in pigs is up to 4 days. Pig oral administration of blood drug peak time (0.5 days) faster than subcutaneous injection (2 days), but the bioavailability of subcutaneous injection is much higher than that of oral administration, usually when taken orally, the bioavailability is only 41% of the injection. After absorption, ivermectin is widely distributed in whole body tissues and has the highest concentration in liver and adipose tissue. Ivermectin is usually oxidized into a metabolite in the liver, which accounts for more than 90% of fecal excretion in 5-6 days, and only 0.5% to 2% of urinary excretion.
【Indication】
Gastrointestinal nematode, cow ditch, sphagnum, sheep larvae, pruritus and Sarcoptes suis for the treatment of livestock.
Pig: Treatment and prevention of digestive tract nematodes, lung nematodes, and mange. Inject the product at the recommended dose of 1ml/33kg body weight to control the following porcine parasitic diseases:
1. Digestive tract nematodes (adults and later larvae): swine mites, light red pig roundworm, esophageal nematodes, and roundworms.
2. Pneumoconiosis: C. elegans (adult).
3. Louse: Blood louse.
4. Mange: Sarcoptic mange.
In order to ensure that the newborn piglets are not infected by parasites, it is recommended that the primiparous sows be injected once every 7 to 14 days before breeding; all sows are treated with this product 10 days before farrowing and then transferred to the sterilized farrowing room.
Cattle: Treatment and prevention of parasitic infections such as digestive tract nematodes, lung nematodes, cowflies, eye nematodes, ticks and sucking lice in beef cattle and cows (see example below). The dosage used is 0.2 mg per 1 kg body weight, or 1 ml/50kg body weight of the product.
1. Effectively control the following parasites that are parasitic in the digestive tract of cattle:
a) Digestive tract nematodes (including adult and fourth-stage larvae): A. striata (including inhibition of larvae), Haemonchus chinensis, A. elegans, Coopers, Coccinellidae, swollen Confucius elegans, white mites, radiation esophageal nematodes, A. elegans (adults), Neck nematodes (adults) and whipworms (adults).
b) Lungworm (adult and fourth larvae): Vibrio elegans.
c) Eye nematode (adult): Nematode.
2. Control ectoparasites
a) Cowhide larvae (parasitic stage): under the cowhide fly maggot and tropical cowhide fly maggot.
b) Cowhide larvae (parasitic stage): under the cowhide fly maggot and tropical cowhide fly maggot.
c) Sarcoptes: cattle Sarcoptes.
d) Parasitic louse.
Sheep: 0.2mg per 1kg body weight or 1ml/50kg body weight of the product can prevent and treat sheep mites, digestive tract nematodes, lung nematodes and sheep larvae.

【Adverse reactions】
Some cows experience short-term discomfort after subcutaneous injection of this product or soft tissue swelling at the injection site. These reactions disappear without treatment.
Some sheep sometimes have severe pain after subcutaneous injection of this product, but it is usually ephemeral.
